Privacy Policy
Atelier Helix LLC ("Atelier Helix," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, atelierhelix.io (the "Website"), our client portal at portal.atelierhelix.io (the "Portal"), and the automation, website and digital services we provide (together, the "Services"). It also explains how that information is used, stored and shared, and the choices and rights available to you.
By using the Website, the Portal or our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you give us directly, information created when you use the Portal and our Services, limited information from public business sources, and basic technical information collected automatically.
Website Contact Form
When you request a call or send an inquiry through the Website, we collect:
- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Business name
- Business type
- The challenges you select (for example, missed calls or slow lead follow-up) and anything else you tell us about your business
Your inquiry is delivered to us by email. The form also contains a hidden anti-spam field; it does not collect anything about you.
Calls, Emails and Text Messages
When you call, email or text us, we keep the messages you send, the contact details they come from, and notes about the conversation so we can follow up.
Client Portal
If you become a client, we invite you to the Portal. Sign-in uses a one-time link sent to your email, so we do not create or store a password for you. Through the Portal we collect and store:
- Your name, business name, email address, phone number and other contact details
- Project details, notes and the stage your project is in
- Proposals we send you, including attached PDF documents
- Your acceptance of a proposal, including the date and time you signed and a digital fingerprint (checksum) of the signed document, so either of us can later confirm it was not changed
- Feedback on design mockups and branding kits, including comments you pin to a design and your approvals
- Payment records, such as amounts, due dates, payment status and payment method type
Payments
Card and bank (ACH) payments are processed by Stripe through its secure checkout. Stripe collects your payment details directly. We never see or store full card numbers or bank account numbers. If you pay by check or Zelle, we record the amount, date and method.
Information From Public Business Sources
To find businesses that may benefit from our Services, we may collect publicly available business information, such as a business name, trade, license details published by state agencies, business address, website and business email address. We may use an email-verification service to confirm that a business address is valid before contacting it. We collect business contact information, not personal profiles.
Information Collected Automatically
- Website analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and understand which pages are useful. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. It records information such as the page visited, referring site, country, browser and device type.
- Server logs: Our hosting providers record basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type and request time, to keep the Website and Portal secure and working.
- Portal session cookies: The Portal uses essential cookies to keep you signed in. See Section 9.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or store:
- Full payment card numbers or bank account numbers (Stripe handles these)
- Passwords for the Portal (sign-in uses one-time email links)
- Social Security numbers or government identification numbers
- Advertising IDs or device IDs
- Precise location from your device
We do not use advertising pixels or behavioral tracking on the Website.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information we collect to:
- Reply to your inquiry and schedule the call you asked for
- Prepare and send proposals, and record your acceptance
- Deliver, support and bill for the Services you sign up for
- Share design mockups and collect your feedback and approvals
- Process payments and send receipts and payment reminders
- Send service messages, such as appointment reminders, project updates and Portal sign-in links
- Operate automations and AI features we provide for you or for our clients
- Contact businesses that may benefit from our Services, with a clear way to opt out
- Improve the Website, the Portal and our Services
- Protect the security of our systems and prevent spam, fraud and misuse
- Keep business, tax and legal records and comply with the law
- Enforce our Terms and agreements
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you to understand how our Services perform.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies' advertising.
4. Text Messages and Email
Text Messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to be contacted, we may text you about your inquiry, your appointment or your account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.
We send service emails, such as inquiry replies, Portal sign-in links, proposals, design reviews, payment requests and receipts. These are part of providing the Services and cannot be turned off while you are an active client.
If we contact your business about our Services, every message identifies Atelier Helix, includes our mailing address, and gives you a simple way to opt out. When you opt out, we add your address to a do-not-contact list so you are not contacted again.
5. Service Providers and Data Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as much as each one needs to do its job.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with the law, a court order or a government request
- Protect the rights, property or safety of Atelier Helix, our clients or others
- Investigate fraud, security incidents or misuse of our Services
- Enforce our Terms and agreements
- Complete a merger, acquisition, sale of assets or similar business transaction, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information
6. Information We Handle for Our Clients
When we build a website or run an automation (such as missed-call text-back, lead follow-up or review requests) for a client business, we process that business's customer information on its behalf and only to provide the service.
The client business controls that information and its own privacy practices. If you are a customer of one of our clients, please contact that business about your data. We will help them respond to your request.
We do not use our clients' customer information for our own marketing, and we do not sell it.
7. Storage, Retention and Deletion
Where Information Is Stored
Our service providers store and process information primarily in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
How Long We Keep It
- Inquiries: up to two years if you do not become a client
- Client records: for as long as our relationship lasts, plus the time required for tax, accounting and legal purposes
- Signed proposals and payment records: for as long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes, even after other project data is deleted
- Outreach records: until they are no longer useful. If you opt out, we keep your email address on a do-not-contact list so we honor that choice.
Deleting Your Information
You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing hello@atelierhelix.io. When we delete a client record, we remove the client's Portal account, proposals, uploaded documents and design files. We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as records of completed payments.
8. Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the Website and Portal
- Invite-only Portal access with one-time email sign-in links
- Database access rules that let each client see only their own records
- Private file storage with short-lived download links
- Payment processing handled entirely by Stripe
- Two-step login on the accounts we use to run the business
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.
9. Cookies, Analytics and Do Not Track
The Website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you will not see a cookie banner. Our analytics do not use cookies and do not follow you across other websites.
The Portal uses essential cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect your account. These cookies are required for the Portal to work.
Because we do not use behavioral advertising or cross-site tracking, there is nothing for a browser's "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal to turn off. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising.
The Website may link to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
10. Children's Privacy
Our Services are for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have, we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us at hello@atelierhelix.io.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how we use it
- Access or get a copy of your personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your personal information
- Withdraw consent, including opting out of texts (reply STOP) or emails
- Object to or limit certain processing
- Opt out of the sale of personal information or targeted advertising (we do neither)
To make a request, email hello@atelierhelix.io. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it. We will respond within 30 days, or sooner if the law requires. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
California and Other U.S. States
Some states, including California, give residents additional rights over their personal information. We honor verified requests as those laws require. Atelier Helix does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
European Union and United Kingdom
If you are in the EU or UK, we process your information on these legal bases:
- Contract: to provide the Services you request or sign up for
- Consent: for text messages and other purposes where we ask for it
- Legitimate interests: to run, secure and improve our business and contact businesses that may benefit from our Services, where those interests are not outweighed by your rights
- Legal obligation: to keep tax records and meet other legal requirements
You also have the right to data portability and to complain to your local data protection authority.
12. Changes and Contact
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our Services, technology or the law change. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top. We will highlight significant changes on the Website or email them to active clients. Continuing to use our Services after an update means you acknowledge the updated policy, to the extent the law allows.
